AI and the real estate industry: a statement of love for people.

In a world characterized by artificial intelligence (AI) and automation, we explore the question of the human role. This article shows why real estate agents remain invaluable.They - the people - are: Negotiators: when it comes to successfully closing real estate deals, human communication and negotiation skills are essential - they're the spark that AI just can't (yet) ignite. Relationship builders: Cultivating personal relationships and building trust are the soul of the real estate business. Empathy and human interaction are irreplaceable. And this arises in genuine encounters. Local knowledge: Experienced, well-connected real estate agents are the guardians of valuable local knowledge. This knowledge is invaluable for buyers and sellers and can only be reproduced by AI to a limited extent (as yet). Although AI cannot (yet) replace human skills in some areas, it can support us real estate agents in many aspects. Especially when it comes to analyzing valuable data.Our conclusion: "AI" is our valuable helper in the background. The future of the real estate brokerage profession will be shaped by the successful combination of AI and human expertise. In our view, however, the focus will remain on the human component. After all, it is people who lend authenticity, vitality and soul to the real estate business.
